WSUS says it is, but the server itself does not. well, I can't, because it doesn't appear in the list of installed updates. Next I try uninstalling said update so I can attempt reinstalling it to see if it triggers the uninstall of Flash. Windows tells me that update is already installed. So I try to manually install KB4577586 to remove it. Windows Update will inform you when new versions of the Flash Player are available."Įr, no, I'm trying to get rid of you. I've noticed Flash is still in the list of installed apps on one of our servers, but when I try to uninstall it, it says "Your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser includes the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player built-in. Running the tool found here will uninstall Flash. EDIT: Now resolved - (probably) caused by an in-place upgrade from a version of Windows Server before Flash was managed by Windows Updates, so it gets stuck.
